A self righting vessel ensures the safety of the boat crew by recovering from a 180 degree roll over in times of distress. Many special features are incorporated to maintain watertight integrity and product durability in the event of capsize in heavy seas, providing a safe refuge for the crew. Our team carries out rigorous checks each time a unit comes to us.

A visual inspection will be carried out before we will remove the self righting bag from the boat. The self righting bag will undergo a 24 hour pressure test.

After the pressure test, we will analyse the chamber and accompanying cylinder to find any leakages or defects. There may also be valve replacement if needed.

Thereafter, with all patching and repairs done, a final 24 hour test will be administered to ensure chamber is without leakages. Our technicians then take special care to ensure that the self righting chamber is well packed for delivery.
